Arthritis can have a big impact on the exercise you do with your dog.

It may be a gradual change over time, where walks have become shorter and slower to avoid discomfort. It may be that your dog is having a flare up and suffering more than usual, and you have to restrict the amount you do for a few days until the flare passes.

The good news is that there are so many other activities you can do together, that most dogs (and owners!) not only cope brilliantly with changes in exercise, but owners find themselves wanting to do much more of this with their non-arthritic dogs too!
